Yes, underfloor heating can be retrofitted into existing homes. Ultra-thin, they add negligible height to floors making them perfect for renovations.
Underfloor heating is suitable for any subfloor and floor covering, including tile, stone, laminate, timber and carpet.
Every heating system is designed at the time of installation to heat every corner, even over stairs and into showers. We highly recommend heating installed in the shower area – this dries wet surfaces quickly and significantly reduces mould growth.
Yes, underfloor heating can be energy-efficient when properly installed and controlled. Take advantage of cheaper off-peak power to generate heat for the lowest cost, and then dissipate it throughout the day when it is needed most.
Our system can also be fully automated which means you can set four different temperatures throughout the day and a different routine on weekdays and weekends. It feels like your whole home is heated but energy is never wasted (warming empty rooms).
Livella underfloor heating cables are “set and forget”, This means that once installed no maintenance is required and there are no maintenance costs.
Yes, Livella underfloor heating is suitable for all rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms.
The floor heat will take anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes to reach the desired temperature. Heating times may vary depending on the thickness of the screed and tiles.
A thermostat controls the operation of underfloor heating. Whilst the thermostat is set to the desired temperature, the sensor located in the floor measures the actual floor temperature.
Yes, we can supply a din-rail style (located on the switchboard) that is suitable to use with underfloor heating.
We have qualified installers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Underfloor heating can also be installed by your preferred electrician.
Every product is designed, tested and certified locally to exceed the most demanding electrical safety standards.
Standard Warranty applies from the date of delivery of the Product to the Purchaser: 10 years for underfloor heating elements and one 1 year for all other products and components bearing the Livella label.
